The idea of an advanced code generator in the industry automation field, comes from the technical founder of FACTORY 41, Corrado Fantozzi,  and from his passion for code engineering and process control.

He is an electrical engineer with specialization in industrial automation, during his over twenty years career as integrator, he faced up as everybody to issues related to the everyday life  of the traditional development cycle of the automation industrial applications:

• The engineering code level is highly linked to the developer degree of experience and know-how

• During code and documentation production it is essential to keep an univocal reference standard between different projects and, within a working group, between different implementation modalities to ensure efficiency and maintainability

• Products code and documentation must comply with templates and functional criteria indicated by  international norms, standards and guidelines of the automation sector (especially for some particular sectors as pharma, food, chemical industry, etc)

• The percentage of errors in the code is closely related to the debug time needed in the office and to commissioning and start-up time necessary in the field
